God’s Words Immortal “Words/Passage #1

Behold Your Reward is With Me

Behold Your Reward is With Me

Our first passage that we will use as a reference for WORDS is found in

The eleventh chapter of Deuteronomy in the NIV Study Bible is entitled Love and Obey the Lord. This is the predominant command God gives all his kids It can also be summed up as love the Lord and serve Him only.

The first passage we will comment on with reference to WORDS states: Dt 11:18 Fix these WORDS OF MINE  in your hearts and minds; tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. 19  teach them to your children, talking about them when you sit at home and when you walk  along the road, when you lie down and when you sit up…

I recommend that you read the entire 11th chapter of Deuteronomy to get a proper sense

Many devout Jews interpreted this scripture literally they tied Phylacteries to their foreheads and left arms. Mezuzot were attached to the door frames of their houses. Metal or Wooden boxes containing scripture passages. A figurative interpretation of this passage can be supported by Dt 11:18-20, Ex 13:9,16.

The important Message throughout this chapter places emphasis on the title referred to earlier: “Love and Obey the Lord”. The road map God gave to his kids from creation to the present are all the SPIRIT inspired WORDS of the Bible.
